SYNOPSIS

After a lifetime of fascination with the stories her grandfather Michael Darling told her, 11 year old, Penelope Darling becomes pen-pals with her distant cousin Mary Andrews, the great-grand-daughter of the famous Wendy Darling.

On the eve of her 21st birthday, Penelope Darling goes missing after meeting her cousin and her cousin’s daughter for the first time.

Even though Penelope disappeared without a trace, her twin sister Daphne knows Penelope is still out there. Heartbroken, after the first year, Daphne refuses to talk about it.

Daphne’s kids grow up knowing nothing of their Aunt Penelope, and having no real contact with their Uncle Edward Darling and his children.

23 years after Penelope’s disappearance, on a visit to London for a family funeral, Daphne’s children meet Edward’s children and learn of their missing Aunt for the first time.

To their surprise, the greatest family secret isn’t that they have a missing Aunt that they never knew about, it is that the famous Darling family legacy that has been with Great Aunt Wendy’s descendants all this time is in fact real… as the next generation of Darling children mount a rescue mission and an adventure in Neverland.

A mix of classic characters from the original story chronicled by J. M. Barrie in Peter and Wendy circa 1911 and new modern characters written by Sarah Karman Rogers (with help from you!) … this is a new story about Adventures in Neverland.
